Explorer, an update of the popular TOPO! software, gives users access to detailed, continuously updated online U.S. maps and interactive travel tools. Log into TOPO! Explorer and use the SuperQuads tool to download maps with six layers of map information. TOPO Explorer includes multiple-scale topographic maps, aerial photographic maps, road maps, USGS digital information, and a HybridQuad map which blends aerial photography with topographic linework. National Geographic also added an online photo and video organizer, and map design tools to help you create your own maps. 3D visual renderings, connectivity with select GPS receivers, and the ability to share recreation information with the TOPO!
