I have been a fan of Arc'teryx for about four years, and own a few of their products. This is the first Gore Tex jacket I've bought so I don't have alot to compare it to other than some that I've tried on, and some that my friends own.
All, and all I have no complaints. I'm 6' medium build, and the sive medium fits very well. It doesn't have alot of bagginess (some people go for baggy I don't) ,and it instead fits my form nicely, but does not inhibit mobility. It moves with me.
The dropped hem comes down about 4-6 inches bellow my waist, and does not expose my lower back when I bend over. It has a hem draw cord but I hardly ever use it except on heavy powder days.
If your the type with your pants dropped I don't think this jacket will do what it's designed to do, but if your pants are at your waist then it should do nicely at keeping the snow out.
The radio pocket works well with most 2-ways just push your talk button, and speak without any sort of "What'd you say"? However some handhelds are to big so just be aware
So basically the only two things I would have liked different were a deeper radio pocket, and a slighty beefier powder skirt elastic (instead of a wide band it's just a thin cord which works well, but I do find myself pulling it back down a couple times a day). All, and all a great piece of equipment that will stand up to years of abuse.
