Unlike most conventional fleece, Polartec� Power Shield� fabric is exceptionally resilient to wear and won't snag like other fabric designs. The Gamma MX is suitable for mountaineering or ice climbing under blue bird skies and it's practically bulletproof when layered beneath a waterproof, breathable shell like the Arc'teryx Theta AR Jacket or the Beta AR Jacket.
