Making pack flys obsolete, the waterproof construction keeps your gear dry inside the airtight main compartment even if your next canyoneering trip forces you to float your pack through a narrow slot. The backpanel is beefy yet lightweight too, and connects to the supportive hipbelt via the Load Transfer Disc™ assembly. One component of the disc assembly is mounted on the hipbelt and mates to a similar plate on the backpanel, where the assembly rotates whenever your hips pivot.
