The Resurgence
The Resurgence is a luxury Lodge for couples who enjoy nature, the outdoors and gourmet food & wine. Set in the stunning Riwaka Valley on the edge of Kahurangi National Park and just 15 minutes from the start of the Abel Tasman Track. 50 minutes from Nelson airport.
Accommodation comprises 4 Lodge Rooms in the main building or 2 luxury self-contained log cottages. All accommodation is to a very high standard and features native timbers and warm natural colours. The luxury ensuite bathrooms have powerful massage showers & heated floors to pamper you after a hard day in the National Parks.
Dinner is a special occasion at The Resurgence. Guests meet over cocktails and then dine together with the hosts. Discussions range from the day's activities to world events. Our menu is french-mediterranean inspired and features seasonal local produce. We have a wine list of the best Nelson wines.
Lodge facilities include pool, spa & bush walks. Free internet, phone & laundry. Free loan of maps, guides and backpacks. Big lounge & outdoor seating areas. Log fire in winter.
We can make bookings for most activities on your behalf, we also organise Short Breaks for hiking, kayaking and eco activitie in Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks. Dinner Bed & Breakfast in Lodge Rooms or Self-Cater / Dinner B&B in Cottage Suites.
