Heritage Lodge provides guests with the opportunity to escape from the realities of daily life into an area that boasts the World Heritage listed lush wet tropical rainforests and a gateway to our Great Barrier Reef. With only twenty cabins our guests numbers are limited. During your stay with us you are free either to 'do it all' or you may prefer the serenity of the bubbling waters and crystal clear swimming holes of Cooper Creek. Four wheel drive safaris, reef trips and guided rainforest walks are all available from Heritage Lodge.
Heritage is a boutique cabin style rainforest resort set onto Cooper Creek and adjoining Cape Tribulation National Park. We are located at the base of the majestic Thornton Peak with the famous Alexandra Falls a two hour hike from the Lodge.
There are only twenty cabins all fitted with en suite bathrooms, Queen size beds with various configurations, hair dryers and private verandas. The rooms are naturally ventilated with fully screened timber louvered windows and ceiling fans. Air-Conditioned 24hrs for your comfort. Tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini-bar are provided. Naturally, all of our rooms are serviced daily.

One of Australia's great waterfalls, the 150 metres "Alexandra Falls" can be accessed by a 2 hour hike through pristine wilderness. The only track to the falls starts from Heritage Lodge.
