Cloud Peak

Cloud Peak is the highest peak in the Big Horn Range at 13,167 feet. On the northeast slope of Cloud Peak is the last active glacier in this range. Cloud Peak is located near the center of the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area. The peak provides spectacular views and is surrounded with lakes to fish on.

Visitors to the wilderness must register to the Wyoming Parks Service. Camping at Cloud Peak is not permitted within 100 feet of any lake or stream and campfires are not permitted within 300 feet of lakes, streams and trails. The best time to climb is from July through September.
