If you want to find the real treasure of the Sierra Madre, you must catch a train. Now you can see this spectacular part of the world, but instead of being just a sight-seer, you can WALK in the fresh crisp mountain altitudes and even on a beautiful tropical beach at Topolobampo on the coast... all in the same trip! We are the only company that takes you on the ENTIRE train ride from the upper canyons to the beaches and lets you walk at points of interest along this magnificent railway. A train ride here is like taking a trip back in time through the American frontier. Remember walking is optional.

We will have close contact with the people living in rural Mexico - we will be spending nights in motels and bread and breakfast facilities. you will be provided with the greatest views in the North America, plenty of fresh air, great trail, rustic charm and comfort.

The Copper Canyons are a series of large canyons covering 650 square kilometers (four times larger and 1,462 feet deeper than the Grand Canyon of Arizona). There are five main canyons, Sinforosa Canyon, Guaynopa Canyon, and Batopilas Canyon. Vegetation includes pine, oak, scrub oak, pinon, juniper, and madrono in the highest portions of the Sierra Madre Range. In the depths of the canyon you'll see tropical vegetation, bananas, mangos, avocados, and citrus.
SCHEDULES & ITINERARIES
On our Copper Canyon Train Trip walking is optional which enables walkers and non-walkers to take the same trip. This has helped many couples with inactive spouses to take the same trip together, enable more people to see the awesome beauty of this unbelievable part of the world.

Ride the most dramatic railway in the Western Hemisphere and see the undiscovered frontier that only Mexico can offer. The train will take you over 400 miles, through 86 tunnels, over 39 bridges, pine trees at 8,000 ft. high to topical Los Mochis at Sea level.
