Whitegold Adventures

Whitegold Adventures specializes in custom trips in the Cariboo mountains of British -Columbia. We have one of the four permits given by BC parks to operate canoe trips in the beautiful Bowron Lake provincial park. We offer 8 day trips around the full 117km circuit or 4 day trips along the warmer west side of the chain. Adventurers wanting to test their strenght completing the full circuit in a shorter period of time can enquire about our custom departure dates.

As far as hiking possibilities, they are endless. The Cariboo mountains were host to one of Brtish-Columbia's biggest goldrushs and remnants of those days are still present in this vast country. A 3 day trip along the historic goldrush pack trail will whisper stories to your ears as you walk into old mining camps and find all kinds of artifacts of the last century. End this trip walking into the living, breathing mining town of Barkerville where actors bring those days back with plays on the streets or in the old theatre.

If you are more interested in hiking to a summit to enjoy a view on one of the many glaciers covering the landscape of this magical area or even do a traverse of this range it is all possible. The beauty of offering custom trips is that we can respond to your demands and come up with the best trip that will suit your goals and abilities. The mountains are for eveyone to enjoy!
