VentureScape Wilderness Retreat
We offer some of the most beautiful landscapes that Alberta has to offer. Here you will find rare birds, moose, deer, beavers just about every type of wildlife imaginable.
At Venturescape we have 3 basic styes of accommodation available: Family Cabins which have 2 rooms complete with a double and 2 single beds in each room and it's own washroom.
Our Cozy Cabins are equipped with a double bed in the loft and 2 singles below with a private washroom.
The Powder Creek Chalet has the more standard style of Hotel accommodation with 8 rooms having either 2 double or 2 queen beds and washroom.
Also in the Chalet we have the Solomon Suite which is equipped with a King Bed, living room with a TV, DVD and VCR, a kitchenette complete with all the amenities.
Along with these rooms we also have in the Chalet the Great room which has a floor to ceiling fireplace, meeting space for 18 people, lounge area and a TV, DVD, VCR, Satellite system and even a full sized kitchen for your use.
Our Wildhay Hall can accommodate up to 150 people for private functions such as: Formal Dinners, Trade Shows, Weddings or what have you. Our Chef can prepare various meals to satisfy any taste or style.
We also have a Group Campsite with 2 bunkhouses that can hold up to 25 people and a tenting area that has had up to 50 tents pitched at one time.
Our RV site can accommodate up to 26 units a various sizes. It is only a 15 amp service at this time.
Venturescape also offers instruction in many types of outdoor activities such as: rock climbing, caving, canoeing, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. We have couses in Wilderness First Aid, mountaineering and team building.
Our Executive Cabin is by far the best around with a private outdoor deck area, living room complete with it's own fireplace, a 3 person Jacuzzi tub, dry sauna, kitchenette, King Bed and a TV, DVD and VCR players.
As you can see we offer just about everthing anyone could think of in a Wilderness setting.
