Aurum Lodge

Aurum Lodge is Alberta's only solar powered and solar heated country inn and a leader in sustainable tourism in the region.

The facility offers two accommodation options for visitors who choose Bighorn Country as their destination in the Canadian Rockies. The lodge contains six guestrooms, which come with breakfast or halfboard. Three self-contained units with kitchens are also available for guests who prefer to look after themselves and prepare their own meals.

All units, except the two bedroom apartment, are designed for double occupancy and have ensuite baths. All units are smoke-free units.

The facility is easily accessible on good highways from Lake Louise and Jasper (Hwy 93 / Icefield Parkway) or from Red Deer / Rocky Mountain House on Hwy 11 (David Thompson Highway).

Guests are encouraged to "tread softly" and help reduce the environmental impact of tourism in the area.
