Aurum Lodge is a healthy house, built and operated sustainably. Two thirds of energy needs are obtained from renewable sources, including the solar collectors seen in front of the lodge. Together with other conservation measures, this has resulted in an 85% reduction of fossil fuel use, avoiding noise, pollution and resource waste.

One corner room is fully wheelchair accessible.
Our standard rooms are smaller and share an enclosed sunroom, ideal for two couples travelling together or for a family with teenage children.
The Suite also has a jacuzzi tub.
Interior of self-contained cottage unit, ideal for guests who prefer to look after their own meals. These units offer a full kitchen, ensuite bath with shower and are fully winterized with infloor heating and a wood stove. Outside there is a patio and access to wood grill and pic-nic area.
Abraham Lake and the David Thompson Highway of Alberta (Hwy11), considered to be one of the most scenic roads in North America.
This is the valley of the North Saskatchewan River, which flows from the Columbia Icefields to Hudson Bay. Aurum Lodge is located between road and lake in the centre of the picture.
