Boat Ramp Renovation Completed

On February 22, the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division completed the boat ramp renovation at the public access area located above The Narrows on Lay Lake. This facility is located at the end of Shelby Co. Rd. 400, and was closed for several months while a new launching slab was constructed.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources promotes wise stewardship, management and enjoyment of Alabama's natural resources through five divisions: Marine Police, Marine Resources, State Lands, State Parks, and Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries.
