Several hiking trails and campgrounds at Steamboat Springs, Colorado are now open and ready for use, according to an announcement made by the Forestry officials last June 27.

Some of the campgrounds that are now open to the public include the Dry Lake which is located in Buffalo Pass, the Dumont Lake, a section of the Seedhouse Campground, the Freeman Reservoir campground, the Bear Lake, Cold Springs, Horseshoe, Vaughn Lake, and the Chapman Reservoir.

Hikers may now use the 100 Road which runs from the Red Dirt Road to the Rabbit Ears Pass and the Flattops Trail Scenic Byway Trail.
