MapBuzz Teams Up with Colorado Mountain Club

Denver, CO (PRWEB) - MapBuzz, Inc. (MapBuzz), the social mapping site, announced that it is providing online trail maps for the 7,000-member Colorado Mountain Club (CMC). CMC members now have access to 590 maps in the Colorado region for planning social excursions, trail maintenance, and geo-tagging points of interest.

During the active hiking season, March through October, the CMC offers more than 2,000 trips to our members, each led by an experienced leader." By searching online for hikes and reviewing trail profile information, members can easily match their desired outing with the appropriate trail based on its location and difficulty, as well as share current hiking conditions and surrounding points of interest.

The CMC, with headquarters in Golden, Colorado, is one of the oldest hiking organizations in the country and has a number of active chapters throughout Colorado.
