Trail to be Established on Unused Road Allowances

TUESDAY, 27 NOVEMBER 2007

The Town of Caledon in Ontario and the Bruce Trail Conservancy has finally reached an agreement. The two had recently announced that they agreed to develop a hiking trail with the use of different unused Town road allowances.

The aforementioned road allowances are the extension of Chinguacousy Road that passes through McLaren Road. This also includes Creditview Road to Forks of the Credit Road, Puckering Lane to Escarpment Sideroad, and finally, Innis Lake Road to Glen Haffy Road.

The construction project will be spearheaded by the Bruce Trail Conservancy. They will also be responsible for the maintenance of the said hiking trail.
