Hiking - a Growing Activity in National Park |

Hikers are descending on Cape Breton Highlands National Park, which is located in northern Cape Breton mainly to give the park’s trails a quick run through.
According to the results of the Cape Breton Highlands Park Trails Project, majority of the park visitors made use of at least one trail.

POST Offers more Scenic Hiking Trails |

The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) of California is offering the public more opportunities to enjoy scenic hiking trails with their recent purchase of 204 acres of hillside land.
According to an announcement made last Tuesday, the said land was bought for $3 million. It is situated close to El Granada and is bordered by another POST-owned area, the Rancho Corral de Tierra.

Trail to be Established on Unused Road Allowances |

The Town of Caledon in Ontario and the Bruce Trail Conservancy has finally reached an agreement. The two had recently announced that they agreed to develop a hiking trail with the use of different unused Town road allowances.
