Volunteers to Help Build Bordentown Hiking Trail

Volunteers at the city of Bordentown will help build the first ever Bordentown hiking trail which will be situated beside Thorntown Creek.
To jumpstart the project, a group of volunteers will meet this coming Saturday, November 3, according to Bordentown City Environmental Commission Chairman Mike Hunninghake. Hunninghake also said that this Saturday’s activity will involve clearing of paths.
Meanwhile, the Environmental Commission of Bordentown City recently received a grant from the State Department of Environmental Protection. The said grant amounted to $9,270 and will be used to buy equipment for the said trail such as trail markers, benches, signs and so on.
