Woman Fell From Angels Landing

THURSDAY, 24 AUGUST 2006

911 operators received a call from a man who reported about his wife who apparently fell 1,200 feet from Angels Landing. The couple went hiking Tuesday morning when the incident happened.

The woman’s body had been recovered around 4pm but her name and age was not released yet until family members will be notified. She is the fifth person to die on the popular hiking trail since 1983.

The Washington Country Sheriff’s Office is already investigating about the woman’s death.
