Hike, Meditate and Practice Yoga On April 28-30
THURSDAY, 20 APRIL 2006
Spend as much time outdoors as you would exploring your inner self. Experience hiking, yoga and simple meditation from April 28-30 at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Berkshire Massachusetts.
The program is open to everyone. There, you will be given the opportunity to explore and appreciate the natural beauty of the Berkshires. After the hike, you will return indoors and will have the time to turn inward and explore your inner self with the help of a, “simple and deeply relaxing yoga and meditation experience.” At the end of the day, you and all the participants will have a soothing foot massage.
Aside from those already mentioned, you will also be able to learn the following:
-
Self-awareness, mindfulness, and compassion exercises
-
Breath and movement coordination
-
Healing yoga postures
-
Simple meditation techniques
-
A guided partner foot massage.
The workshop/hiking trip will be presented by Randal Williams, MA. He is a professional-level Kripalu yoga teacher and bodyworker. He also has a degree on Jungian and yogic psychology. He will also be giving the same program from June 2-4.
For registration details, you may check out the event's website the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
