41st Annual Winter Hike on Jan. 21

MONDAY, 16 JANUARY 2006

If you enjoy an invigorating hike, join the 41st Annual Winter Hike on January 21 at Hocking Hills State Park in Logan, Ohio. The winter hike will compose of a 6-mile trek from Old Man’s Cave to Ash Cave. The event is free of charge. Also, there will be pre-hiking activities such as games and programs on Jan. 20 .

Hikers will leave from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Refreshments will be available in exchange for donations. There will also be winter hiking souvenirs and hiking staff souvenirs sold in the event. It is recommended for hikers to keep warm and to wear comfortable boots instead of new ones. A shuttle will be available to return hikers to Old Man’s Cave.
