Winter Trails 2006 to be Held January 7

FRIDAY, 16 DECEMBER 2005

The 11th Winter Trails® Day will take place in over 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada on January 7,2006. This one-day event aims to give people of all ages the opportunity to try out cross country skiing, winter hiking, and snowshoeing for free.

The programs will differ since the method of introducing these sports will depend on the organizers of each locality. Various organizations and communities teamed up to bring life to the event. Winter Trails 2006 is presented by Snowsports Industries America, American Hiking Society, and the Cross Country Ski Areas Association.
