I am a student currently completing a degree in Adventure Tourism Management and as part of this I am doing a dissertation. The title of which is:

A critical analysis of management and prevention of adverse environmental impacts caused by hiking in the Buxton area of the Peak District.

I am hoping you’ll be able to help me.

For this I just need people who have visited Buxton to comment on any noted impacts to the environment from hiking in the area. These can be positive or negative, detailed or vague comments. Anything you think of!
