These are what I carry...

1. small tube of 'superglue'
2. small roll of velcro (hook & loop) tape
3. needle with length of cotton attached.
(I actually carry two needles - one standard with cotton, and one sailmaker's needle with length of twine.
Also always carry a pocket knife of course, not sure if you considered  that to be an item included in the three))

1) Duct Tape
2) Paracord
3) sewing kit (I'm considering this as 1 item)

All looking very interesting so far, looking forward to what other people out there think what a basic repair kit should be .

Not sure but getting some great ideas, I would definitley say that duct tape, sewing kit and knife all rank up there. I would probably ad some kind of patch adhesive, like a tarp sealer but everything else I will packing in with myself from now on.

3 items to repair with... Hmm
  1. Duct Tape
  2. Candy Bar
  3. Cash

Trade the candy bar for anything you need to borrow to do repairs. The cash is for others who already have a chocolate stash of their own.
