Sorry if you are runing into me again but I may have something here .

I have never used or even seen a Solio but I do use a solar battery charger to charge by AA batteries while on very long treks.

While I am hiking I put my charger in a kayak map case than attached it to the top of my lid of my backpack so the batteries will chargewhile I am hiking . When I am in camp the charger can just it outside my tent or hut. By charger also plugs in to and charges my cell-phone

Just by looking at it I wonder how good the Solio is at charging while you are moving. It looks good for when you are in camp .

 

If you ask me any solar charger is a good idea on long trips.
