Hello to all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between 2 [mid-cut] GTX boot styles by Lowa: the Klondike (specifically the "II" model) and the Renegade (any version). Is the Renegade simply the updated version of the Klondike, and does anyone know when Lowa stopped making the Klondike?

I''ve worn out the soles/treads on my 7-year-old Renegades but am not crazy about how short the new version is behind the ankle, and I have a chance to pick up a pair of Klondikes. Any info about them would be appreciated.

I had a Klondike. I was very comfortable and strong. I recommend it.

Do you remember when you got the Klondikes? I don't think Lowa has made them for a number of years, so I'm trying to find out just how old some "new" ones on Ebay are.
