I'm back to working my way down the stack of almost-finished books.
Back on top is "Guide to Colorado Wildflowers, Volume 2 (Mountains)" by
G.K. Guennel (Newly Revised Second Edition, 2004).

I'm reading "A Walk Along the Wall" by Hunter Davies. It's about Hunter Davies' walk along the Hadrian's Wall in Scotland.

i'm done reading "the witch of portobello" by paulo coelho.good read...moving. typical coelho, though -; story revolves on faith and finding one's self.
hi postergirl! are the harry potter series interesting for adults as well? i try to stay away from the hype, but if it is also a set of good read to spend free time with, i might as well give it a try...heehee:)
oh and i just picked up this book from barnes and nobles on my way home: The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference by Malcolm Gladwell. i have very diverse interest when it comes to books:)

i wish i had more time to pick up a book and read. with work, kids and outdoor activities, i barely have the time (and the will) to read. i think i need to manage my time better so i can constantly educate myself through books.
the books, though, that you'd find in my library are mostly something to do with history, war, etc. i have "the third reich" by william waller which of course focuses on the origin, history and the fall of the third reich, "the hitler book" published 2005 (or is it 2006) and the like.
oh "tipping point..."...i've read that book. my wife's into those inspirational/spiritual books. she would go to me and tell me "you have to read this" when she finishes one. and honestly, i find them very helpful for self-improvement/development.

when it comes to my favorite contemporary authors, i'm always the first one to know about the latest release but i'm always the last one to get a copy. i dont know why, no matter how strong the urge is to go to the store. i am currently reading michael chabon's wonder boys. hilarious.

same here, simon. with me, it's because sometimes the latest releases are gigantic, i always wait for the small paperbacks that can literally fit in my pocket
