Hi everyone.

Do you guys bring your ipod while camping or hiking? I've learned my lesson of not bringing my ipod while hiking or have something to protect it. Ok so I saw this wild rabbit and I wanted to feed him. (I was visiting Yellow Stone Park). My ipod dropped out of my pockets as I bent down to feed the rabbit. That little devil rabbit went straight for my ipod and started to bite it. Its pretty funny how something so small can angry you.

First off, you shouldn't be feeding the bunnies , no matter how cute they are. They are wild animals. Never feed the animals. Second, why take an iPod? Doesn't it kinda cancel out the reason you go into the woods? To get away from it all? I thought about carrying my iPod, but realized how much of nature's symphony I'd miss. Glad I left it at home.

And yeah, rabbits will eat anything. Include rubber insulation around power cords.

i bring my ipod as one of my in case of emergency items and only take it out and listen to music when i didn't enjoy the new trail so and so...but i usually hang it around my neck...with a protective plastic case.

and yeah, i agree with the "don't feed the animals" thing.

my cat would nibble on anything in my hands just to get my attention. when i'm on the mobile phone, he'd gnaw on the phone and if he's ignored he'll proceed either to my fingers or my elbow. my phone's full of nicks and scratches. he's so adorable he gets away with practically anything. i'll be terrible mother for sure.

...like the deserts miss the rain...
