Bala Bunk House is a 26 bed Eco friendly Bunkhouse/Hostel, set on the site of a CADW listed castle: Tomen-y- Castell. The grounds are bounded on 2 sides by a stream and the River Meloch, which has recently been proposed as a SSSI. The accommodation in the Coach House consists of 4 bedrooms sleeping 2,4,8 and an annex room sleeping 6. There is a well equipped kitchen, large lounge/diner, BBQ area outside, drying room, showers and toilets, heating and hot water, ample off road parking, secure bike storage and work shop facilities. Also, we have recently opened our new 6 bed self-contained bunk room. We are open all year round to groups and individuals alike who wish to self cater. We can provide continental breakfast by prior arrangement. The Coach House is ideally situated, being less than 2 miles from Bala - the gate way to Snowdonia National Park, where our guests can take advantage of the many activities the area has to offer such as:- Climbing/Walking, Sailing/Windsurfing, Cycling/Mountain Biking, Canoeing/Rafting, Fishing/Bird Watching, Skiing/Paragliding, Horse Riding/Golf, 4x4 Driving/Quad Biking, or just to relax in the natural ancient beauty with all its hidden history. Terms of Business 22.11.2001 Prices: All prices are as per the current price list unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accommodation charges are payable in advance. Cheques need to be supported by a Bankers Card or given time to clear. All cheques payable to NG & J Williams Telephone bookings are welcome and held for one week to enable you to confirm and pay the provisional reservation deposit. Invoice Payments. All invoice’s should be paid in full within fourteen days of receipt of invoice unless the date of your groups arrival is less, in which case payment should be sent by return post. Provisional Reservation deposit is 20% of total accommodation cost. It is payable when booking and normally not returnable if you cancel. The Balance of Accommodation costs should be paid within four weeks. A reservation is only guaranteed when it is paid in full. Arrival time: Please ensure that you or some other responsible member of your party arrives before 10pm. If this is not possible please telephone so we can make alternative arrangements
