Following the steps of St.Paul : Second longest trekking route in TURKEY
This is a new trek on the first part of the new long distance walk from Perge to Antioch in Pisidia, in the Turkish Taurus mountains.
It partly follows the Roman roads taken by St Paul in his first journey around Asia Minor, when Roman power was well consolidated and the road system in good condition. It includes visits to one major Greek/Roman city and two spectacular, unvisited sites. It also includes waterfalls, a canyon, the unique national park of Kasnak forest, and an optional climb to the summit of Mt Davras, at 2635m, one of the highest in the area with spectacular views over the Turkish Lakes. The trek finishes at 40 km long Lake Egirdir, with a final night on a pension on Green Island.
