Guided Mini Break Holidays
These holidays give you a wonderful opportunity to see a small part of Ireland in great detail - giving you a real feel for the culture, history and folklore of that region. These Mini-Breaks are an ideal way of maximising a small amount of time in one of the most wonderful and historical countries in the world, but BE WARNED - these holidays WILL make you want to return for more!!!
We have 4 day Sat/Tues or 5 day Tues/Sat to choose from, giving you the time and freedom to explore Ireland on your own before and/or after your holiday with arrival and departure at your convenience.
Guided Group Holidays
Our Guided Walking Holidays are a truly different experience, with people from a variety of countries, joining together with the same common interest: to enjoy walking in this wonderful island of IRELAND. Groups consist of 6-14 individually booked people and are escorted by one of our excellent Irish guides who ensure the smooth running of your holiday from start to finish. Your guide will also have knowledge of the area through which you walk and on life in Ireland.
Self Guided Walking Holidays
As a Self-Guided hiker you will guide yourself from place to place at your own leisure. It is advisable that you can map read and compass navigate however we provide full detailed information and tour descriptions with maps and route notes for each days walking.
Self Guided Mini Breaks

holiday breaks - we offer a range of Mini-Break Self-Guided Walking
Holidays.
We offer Self-Guided Mini-Breaks in the following areas:

Customised Group Holidays
If 6 or more of you want to come on a holiday specially designed for your own group, we will be happy to organise this for you. We will be delighted to provide a Guide or organise a Self-Guided holiday of your choice and make it exclusive to your group.

The Itinerary
SouthWestWalks Ireland will follow the itineraries as outlined, but reserve the right to change any days activities due to weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances. All our Guided and Special Interest Holidays have a meeting place on the arrival day this is a convenient location chosen for those of you who are travelling to the start of your holiday independently by bus, train or car. Please note this is not the first accommodation for your holiday. If you arrive before the meeting time please contact our office if you wish and we will direct you to your first accommodation. After your Guided Special Interest Holiday we will return you to a major bus / rail station for your onward journey.
Optional extra day
Should you wish to extend your holiday over the normal 8-day period we strongly recommend that you avail of our Optional Extra Days programme. These days are designed to allow you to relax before and/or after our Guided or Special Interest Holidays or to incorporate during your Self-Guiding (or Individual) Holiday enabling you to visit more places of interest along the way or simply Chill Out.
