In 1998, DC begain its commitment to building the best snowbaord boots possible. DC President Ken Block was heading to Utah to test product so frequently that he decided he should build permanent residence there. So in 1999 he bought 22 acres of land in the Wasatch Mountains, just minutes outside of Park City, Utah. The result of this purchase was the birth of the DC Mtn Lab, the first and best facility of its kind in snowboarding.
It began as a place for solace.
