Shimshal presents some of the most remote villages of pakistan. Though now accessible, it presents the famous Mingling Sar pass. which is iteself a peak of 6000m. Enjoyed by most of the trekkers who trek just for the feeling of getting to the top.
If you are interested in seeing the mighty Karakorams from the north, then you must visit Shimshal. This last reminant of true Hunza culture is situated near Pakistan's Pamir, east of the town of Passu in upper Hunza valley.
Our trek begins at Dutt and we reach the remote village of Shimshal after 3 days of trekking. At each step we are amazed how a path has been carved in this deep and narrow ravine on the way to Shimshal.
