With a height of 8,047 meters, Broad Peak is the world's 12th highest mountain. It is situated at the Karakorum Range in Pakistan, approximately five miles from K2 in the Baltoro Glacier. As the name implies, the peak of the mountain is so broad that it is over a mile long.
