Manaslu

Also known as Kutang, Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the worldand also the high mountain in the Gurkha massif. Its height is 8,156 meters and it is situated forty miles eat of Annapurna.

High peaks at Gurkha massif

Manaslu East - 7894 meters
Himal Chuli - 7864 meters
Manaslu North - 7154 meters
Dakura - 7837 meters

The name Manaslu was from a the word Manasa. This is a Sanskrit word which means "mountain of the spirit."

Best Time to Climb

April, May (pre-monsoon) and Late September, October (post-monsoon) offer good climbing conditions.
