Dhaulagiri
Dhaulagiri, which means "white mountain" is the world's seventh highest mountain. It stands 8167 meters at the north central part of Nepal.
In 1960, Dhaulagiri was first climbed by a Swiss / Austrian expedition (Kurt Diemberger, P. Diener, E. Forrer, Nyima Dorji, Nawang Dorji, and A. Schelbert).
Best Time to Climb
Climbs can be made during the pre-monsoon (April and May) and post-monsoon (late September and October) seasons.
