DAY 01 : SPADUM / MUNE
It is about 5 hours walk to Mune.Enroute visit Barden monastery. Camp after the Mune monastery.
DAY 02 : MUNE / PEPULA
It is about 5 hours walk to Pepula, after visiting the Mune monastery leave for Pepula enroute visit Raru and Ichar villages. Camp near the tea house at Pepula.
DAY 03 : PEPULA / PURNE
It is about 6 hours walk to Purne, enroute visit the Kelbock village. Camp at Purne.
DAY 04 : PURNE / PUCKTAL / PURNE
It is about 4 hours walk and should be taken in the morning as day time it is very hot. Pucktal monastery is the largest monastery in Zanskar. Camp at Purne.
DAY 05 : PURNE / KARGYAK
It is about 7 hours walk to Kargyak village, enroute visit Kuru, Testa, Tenze and Thablah villages. Camp at Kargyak.
DAY 06 : KARGYAK / LAKANG
It takes about 6 hours to Lakang, enroute visit the Doksas (where Yaks are kept in summer) camp after crossing the Nallah at Lakang.
DAY 07 : LAKANG / CHUMIKNAKPO
It takes about 7 hours to the camp. Cross Singola pass (5100 Mts.) and descend to Chumiknakpo camp.
DAY 08 : CHUMIKNAKPO / ZANKARSAMDU
It takes about 5 hours to the camp. Zankarsamdu is the border of J & K and Himachal. Camp near the tea house.
DAY 09 : ZANKARSAMDU / PALMO
It is about 5 hours to the camp, in the morning cross the river by a trolley and some small Nallah.
DAY 10 : PALMO / DARCHA
It takes about 3 hours to Darcha, enroute visit Chika and Rarik villages. From Darcha one can go to Manali by bus, which takes eight hour.
The Second Part also mayb e added to the first both from end to begining and otherwise.

DAY 01 : SPADUM / KARSHA (4 hr.)
Easy walk through the fields we visit Pepiting monastery after crossing a small bridge over the Zanskar river we camp on the right side near a spring.
DAY 02 : KARSHA / PISHU (5 hr.)
Leave early morning for Karsha monastery to witness the prayers onwards to Pishu easy walk. Camp.
DAY 03 : PISHU / HANAMIL (5 hr.)
Leave camp for Hanamil a very easy walk. Enroute visit Pidmo village.
DAY 04 : HANAMIL / SNYTSE (6 hr.)
Start early morning for Parfila (4300 Mts.) descend to Zinchen and up to Snytse.
DAY 05 : SNYTSE / LINGSHAT (7 hr.)
Leave early morning and a long valley to cross arrive Hanumala (4700 Mts.). It is long and steep going down to Lingshet monastery. Camp at Monastery.
DAY 06 : LINGSHAT / YOULCHUNG (6 hr.)
After visiting the Lingshet monastery cross Skupala (4100 Mts.) and again Kabula (4150 Mts.) we camp at the base of Singila.
DAY 07 : YOULCHUNG / PHOTOKASAR (7 hr.)
Leave early morning and cross Singila (5060 Mts.) and descend into a wide valley and just before Photoksar cross Bomitsala (4150 Mts.).
Camp.
DAY 08 : PHOTOKSAR / HANUPATTA (6 hr.)
Leave early morning and start for Sirsirla (4800 Mts.) descend into a very narrow valley and camp near Hanupatta village at the river.
DAY 09 : HANUPATTA / SHILLA (6 hr.)
Leave camp for Shilla through the gorge after about 3 hours the valley.
