| Camping | Enjoy the beauty of nature close from a nostalgic camp site in Kullu Valley with Sunshine Himalayan Adventures. Some mountain biking excursions are basically dirty road- style trips. Most of these mountain bike tours involve some single track riding and require technical skills. The biggest attraction is the adrenaline rush of flying down tricky terrain but if you want to choose the terrain region be sure that you are skilled enough to ride over there. Off - road trips are cheaper because they involve camping or stays in fairly off beaten path accommodations. In general, mountain biking trips focus on those who are born to be wild.

| Heli Skiing/Snowboarding | The region of Kullu valley is famous for skiing. Skiing involves sliding on snow with the help of a snow board or a pair of skies attached to your feet.
Skiing courses and competitions are held every year at Solang Nala above Manali. The best slopes are available at Bhrigu peaks near Hamta. A little bit of summer skiing can be done even on the Rohtang pass Season Middle of December to the end of June.

| Hiking | The main trekking areas in Himachal are the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges easily accesible from Kullu valley. Several treks lead over from Kullu valley to Lahaul & Spiti, Zanskar, Kinnaur and Kangra. Most treks pass through rugged and unspoiled terrain, deep forests and beautiful streams. Many old temples lie along the way.

The raft hits Grade II near the confluence of Parvati and Beas river, sending the boat in an uncontrollable state for some moments with waves lashing on the thrilled participants.

With an average altitude of 5,000 to 6,000 meters, these peaks have been tried by experienced mountaineers from all over the world. The large number of virgin peaks, easy access to base camps and the affordability of local expeditions have made Kullu a good value for many mountain climbers The Beas Kund region, the lower ridges of Hanuman Tibba (5930m) and Deo Tibba (6001m) are suggested areas for beginners.
